About Us
The National Rifle Association of Ireland is responsible for promoting fullbore target rifle shooting in Ireland. There are different types of fullbore shooting including styles using scopes, as in prone ‘FClass’ or Benchrest shooting, as well as the more traditional ‘iron’ sights used in prone target rifle. The NRA of Ireland also have an underlining desire to support, promote and engage in all forms of the shooting sports in Ireland.
The NRA of Ireland are represented on the SSAI (Shooting Sports Association of Ireland) Committee which is recoginised by the Irish Sports Council as the Governing Body for Shooting in Ireland.
