Eligibility criteria for selection for Ireland and competing for a National Championships Title.
1. (a) In order to represent the NRAI in an International Match or compete for a NRAI National Championship title you must
i) be a full member of the NRAI or
ii) an associate member of the NRAI competing as a non-firing member of the team.
(b) A person who has been a team member of another Sovereign Nation shall not be allowed to shoot for Ireland for the next 2 1/2 years following the date of that representative competition.
(c) All competitors must possess a Republic of Ireland Passport
or
exceptionally, where individuals are unable to do so they may submit their case in writing to the Secretary for consideration by the Executive Committee of the NRAI. (e.g. those cases where if an application for a ROI passport was made it would be accepted by the Department of Foreign Affairs.)
2(a) Representative Ireland teams may only travel overseas following receipt of an official invitation to the NRAI Executive Committee from the Governing Body or recognised authority, acknowledged by the NRAI, of the country or countries concerned.
(b) Individuals may only claim to be competing as NRAI competitors providing the EC has given that individual prior approval.
