Conan Doyle Shoot at the 140th Imperial Meeting 2009
The F-Open section of the Annual Conan Doyle Shoot at this year’s Imperial Meeting held at the British National Shooting Centre in Bisley, England on Wednesday the 22nd of July was won by none other than our very own chairman of the NRAI, Mr. Noel Kelly.
The Competition consists of ten shots at 900 yards with a V Bull scoring six. This leaves absolutely no room for error as each shot must be performed perfectly and each wind call must be spot on. A win requires that all ten shots find at least the Bull, as a single dropped point will almost guarantee that you’ve lost the top spot.
Noels winning of the gold at this year’s competition was a fantastic achievement and it was made even more so by the participation of some of the best F-Class shooters in the world who were in Bisley for the F-Class World Championships.
We would like to congratulate Noel on superb shoot and a spectacular win!
